Founder Story
True North HCC was born from a simple truth I learned early in my career: people want to do good work, they just need systems to support them along their way.
I spent more than a decade inside organizations where talented individuals were doing their best within environments that weren’t set up to help them succeed. I saw how leaders struggled, not because they lacked vision, but because they lacked structure. I saw how employees became overwhelmed not because they lacked ability, but because the systems around them made simple tasks unnecessarily difficult. And I saw how culture deteriorated when communication, accountability, and decision-making weren’t anchored in shared values.
Over time, I realized my strongest skill wasn’t just solving problems. It was seeing the patterns behind them. I could trace issues back to their roots: misaligned expectations, unclear ownership, broken workflows, missing guardrails, and the absence of intentional leadership.
And across every industry, size, and team, the same insight kept resurfacing: when a business invests in clarity and builds systems that honor its people, everything changes.
That’s what inspired me to create True North HCC.
I wanted to partner with leaders who care about their teams and want to build organizations that are both effective and humane. Leaders who value structure but don’t want bureaucracy. Leaders who know culture isn’t a slogan, it’s a reflection of the systems we design and the behaviors we reinforce.
My approach is shaped not only by professional experience but by what I’ve learned from life: the importance of psychological safety, the impact of being seen and supported, and the belief that healthy systems create healthier people. I bring empathy and strategy in equal measure, because sustainable growth requires both.
Today, True North HCC exists to help organizations operate with intention, to replace overwhelm with alignment, chaos with clarity, and reaction with thoughtful design. I help leaders articulate what they stand for and build the people operations that bring those values to life.
This work is my way of reshaping the environments I once navigated: building workplaces where people can thrive and businesses can grow without losing their humanity.
